Ours is right in the way, on the front of the top shelf.
Cut it into slices, warmed it up and served it with ice-cream last week.
The Christmas puddings for the last 4 years are still in the cupboard.
Along with the jars of mincemeat. No one likes them and we never eat them but every year the Mrs insists on buying them as ''It's not Christmas without them ''.
You could give them to the birds. They desperately need food rich in nutrients .^^^
Yes....and I don't really know why.....but if I don't get to the shop by Monday it'll be eaten.....or smoked... ;-)
If I'd bought Christmas pudding, it'd be well gone! Love it.
They're so cheap when they're sold off after Christmas, and they keep for ages.
Finished ours a couple of weeks ago, lush. I was wondering earlier what to do with bit of mincemeat that's left, probably heat it up and have it with ice-cream, that's another tub out of the fridge.
You can also make toasties with sweet mincemeat zebo .. with a dusting of icing sugar ( if you have any in)
And mincemeat loaf cake which is delicious...x
Yes gness, I have a mincemeat Christmas cake recipe too.
Zebo - you could let the ice cream soften a bit and mix the mincemeat in with a bit of booze!
No, I only got two small ones for my OH, they were eaten on Christmas day. I don't like them, or mince pies.
Nope, they're all eaten and enjoyed.
One went to Barcelona, one to Sweden, one to London and one stayed home. All home made by himself and totally delicious.
Did he make them in pudding tins muslin tied eth? I imagine they were wonderful anyway!
No eleena, he made them in plastic pudding basins with lids, and I did the washing up and microwaved them. I'm not a fan of Christmas puds but the ones he makes are so scrumptious which is why they go to Sweden and Barcelona.
Still have a Harrod's pudding from over 5 years ago ! Last one I opened last year was even older but still very nice
