I have now used your suggestion and purchased one of these. I tried to order the black one but it was more expensive.

I hope that it is simple to use and not likely to go on fire. I usually cook most of my meals either in the Foreman/Forman grill, toaster _ you can't go wrong with toast, microwave or the oven. The oven door won't stay shut and this is a complication.

Could I get Frankie into one of the fryers?

took out the paddle..used the optional extra basket.. roasties in for 15 mins then put the fillets in alongside for another 15 mins... yum yum
