As NoM has wandered off to the faraway kitchen I thought I'd ask what you are up to in the kitchen this weekend!

Eccles Towers will be having home made lamb kebabs in pitta breads with salad, garlic sauce and harissa dressing. If I can be bothered I might make some cous cous to go on the side.

Tomorrow will be pork in a creamy cider sauce with apples and onions, potatoes fried with onions., garlic and thyme and a selection of steam veg. Pud is anyone's guess.

I'm just getting cold meats, cheese, olives blah, blah and having a mini buffet with the kids tonight. I can't be arsed to cook.
OH had a fry this morning. I'm feeling a bit ropey so haven't had anything yet.

LOL, that's exactly what we had last night after an hour long road trip trying to find a curry house that was not under refurbishment or completely rammed, we went out early too!
Question Author
Hope you perk up Ummmm, ropey is not a nice place to be. :-(
Self inflicted I'm afraid. I went out with a mate to the Macmillan coffee day. No coffee was drank :-D
Tonight is scampi and chips, tomorrow is pork and cider sauce with roasties, roasted veg and yorkies
All courtesy of m&s, we're having boneless beef shin steaks in red wine and bacon sauce, layered classic veg, garlic mushrooms, and parmentier potatoes, all washed down with a bottle of Trivento Malbec (Costco) and fished off with a slice of lemon and ricotta cheesecake.
I can't be arsed cooking either Rocky.
I just had sweet potato and sage risotto topped with toasted pecans. Had a plan for cauliflower wings (like hot spicy chicken wings, but with cauliflower), but pub plans might have just usurped that. Thinking about ramen for lunch tomorrow, maybe mac and (vegan) cheese for the evening... Also need to make a cauliflower and other veg curry to eat in the week - got an absolute beast of a cauliflower that is serving me well!

I love picnic meals like that, me and my Mum have them all the time.
'finished off' not fished off.
What do you mean about NoM, where's she gone?

An unusual fish course Eth.........

NoM has gone user inactive :-(
Oh no, what a shame, did something happen? She's one of my handful of favourite posters, I hope she's ok.
Chicken curry. One Madras& one Tikka Mandala with naan bread. Sainsburys Rosé wine.
Masala
Going out to a concert tonight, so hopefully a Chinese takeaway on the way back.

Not sure about tomorrow yet.
Eccles, are your lamb kebabs made with chunks of lamb on a skewer or minced lamb squashed on to a wooden skewer like a kind of sausage?
Question Author
Sorry had a snooze Eth.....

I'm using cubes of lamb that are marinating in yogurt, harissa, garlic and lemon. I'll skewer them later with pepper and red onion.
M + S are my friends. Steak pie, with new potatoes, runner beans and then strawberry trifle afterwards. Have made some banana bread for tomorrow.

M&S are the friends of many Campbell!

Their £10 meal deals have proven to be saviours for many, and I'm not just referring to the wine!
I just had an M&S lamb burger, crispy pancetta and cheddar on top...still hungry and had a chunk of Stilton. A *very* low carb meal. Finished with 2 squares of lindt 90%.
Tomorrow is likely to be fish, plus assorted olives and cheese during the day.
