I am rather partial to a fishfinger and tartare sauce sandwich or surimi crabstick and salad cream.

I really wish someone would invent a salted caramel chocolate spread?

Rare roast beef, Stilton, beetroot, horseradish

Chicken, blue cheese, red pepper, gherkin, mayo

Cheddar, beetroot, salad cream

Cheese salad sarnie with salad cream

Cheese, S&V crisps and salad cream

A Reuben is a thing of loveliness and I don't have one as often as I would like

Smoked salmon, cream cheese, capers and finely chopped shallot soaked in lemon juice

Ham and piccalilli on a warm stottie

My dad used to make sandwiches with left over veg. I thought it was gross until I had kids and realised it was a great way to get them to eat veg.

Bacon, brie and caramelised onion chutney is my all-time fave.

I couldn't imagine combining peanut butter with other savoury components. I like peanut butter (crunchy) with banana and honey. Yum!

home made sour-dough toasted with melted smoked applewood, cucumber, mushy peas and balsamic glaze, properly seasoned with some olives on the side.

It is beyond lush.

In my student days I was once so hungry (and there wasn't much in fridge/cupboard) that I spread some leftover mashed potato and tomato sauce on slices of bread and put it under the grill
