Cooking A Ham How??

We have a boned Ham to cook for new year and intend doing it new years eve.

Anybody got any suggestions on how to cook it?? Shall I soak it in water overnight etc etc?? Cheers Chris

boil it in coca cola - yum
simmered in 50/50 orange juice and dry cider with bay leaves, stick cinnamon, black peppercorns and cloves, a clove of garlic optional

serve as is, or you can glaze with honey and mustard and bake for about 20 mins

probably won't need soaking just a good rinse beforehand
I cooked a ham last week, boiled it in cider then made a glaze of honey, marmalade and a splash of port, and baked. It was very tasty.

boil in ginger ale, the cheaper the better, then put in foil, cover in ginger jam and wrap up, Roast. Baste sometimes. Cool.Carve Enjoy
