Get someone else to sniff it. I think it will be fine.
Almost certainly OK if the fridge is 5C or lower.
Don't sniff meat, suck it;-)

Excellent, thanks - can now have sarnies for tea rather than mince pies.
Oh, I could just eat a ham sandwich!

The ham is lovely and I will zap it so it's lovely and warm (might go mad and have two).
sherr, personaly wouldn't think it was elderly till Thursday coming - how much have you got left?
just had a smoked haddock omelette so i'll give it a miss Ta.

Not much left, everyone has had two meals out of it, rolls and I have had loads of sandwiches (it's my fav). Think I will have some tonight and the tiny bit that is left can go with the bins in the morning.
Don't bin the bits!

Make an omelette with it for lunch tomorrow :-)
nooo!! put it in some soup or an omlette , or freeze it and fry it up with whatever you do next with mince

Sarnies are delicious! Not enough left to do anything much with(I cherry picked the best bits) and omelettes not on this week's menu (all meals planned and food bought to last till Sunday).
That's what you call planning, sherr.
We have a boned Ham to cook for new year and intend doing it new years eve.

Anybody got any suggestions on how to cook it?? Shall I soak it in water overnight etc etc?? Cheers Chris

I never soak my ham. I loosely wrap it in foil and put it in a big roasting tin surrounded by boiling water (which I check every now and then and top up). When it's done, I take the skin off, criss-cross the fat and cover liberally in a mixture of brown sugar and cinnamon and put back in the oven (on high) for 25 - 30 minutes.
