Tesco do the same.

This week they are doing a promotion, spend £40 or over and get £5 off your next shop.

I fell for it, and had a delivery today, spending £42 and on making out my order today for the w/end, they have stopped most of their meals of buy three and save £1.50, ( buy three for £6 ), which have been on offer for most of the year.

They have also put up lots of items by the odd 20p, 30p and 40p that I usually buy. So really I am not saving hardly anything.

I suppose you could say, well that's ''Business'' but in reality they are giving you nothing, so its a con!

Every little helps, PIFFLE!!!!!

1. There is no such thing as a free lunch.

2. If it sounds too good to be true it is.

That`s why I always look at the unit price (in minuscule print below the price sticker)
Well, shop somewhere else if you don't like these "offers"....say, Aldi.
But you'll have to shop in person of course!
Not economic sense to food shop online if shopping for one.
Nearest supermarket is Co-op. Recently had an upgrade! Their words. Many lines now unavailable. Everything moved. Makes shopping more stressful and time consuming. Yes, I know we are meant to notice and purchase new stuff. Choice and quality has dropped. New suppliers? Will change my shopping habits. Bus, instead of walking, will try a different supermarket.

You have missed my point gingejbee.

I was pointing out that their promotion of saving £5 on your next shop, is not exactly what you are getting!

I know Aldi are cheaper but, there isn't one where I live.
No, I hadn't missed your point at all...you're miffed that Tesco are giving a promotional voucher of 12.5% off, but are increasing the price of some things....Seems fair enough to me.
