Has anybody got a very simple recipe for carrot cake please ? I have never made one before and I would like to give it a go

I've tried various recipes over the years. None of them worked for me until I tried a James Martin recipe which he demonstrated on 'Saturday Kitchen'. It uses mild olive oil rather than butter. I made it at the weekend. It is really good. You will find it on the BBC food website.

Go to BBC Good Food site and ask for Yummy scrummy carrot cake. I make lots of this one and it so moist and delicious. good luck
