Well for those interested, my Titanic night was a hit, I was shattered after it, but the food went down well.

The only disaster was I forgot to cook all the veg!!

For those that are confused a taster menu is a menu consisting of small portions of numerous dishes:

If you want to make a simple boozy jelly just use a packet of jelly cubes and replace some of the cold water used with some booze. Fizzy wine, or something.

anyhoo fgt, would your pureed peas sit on top of the pear and hold the shape to serve?

Sorry tambo it should have been chartreuse but Icould not justify £40 for a bottle!!

It is jelly made with 3/4 pint of boiled water and then add 1/4 of cold vodka, I place peach slices in a the loaf tin and left it too set
