Is it ok to make soup without cream? Does it taste watery?

I have lots and lots (and lots) of veg, so I was thinking this would be a good idea to use it up.

What soups can be made without cream, does anyone do this?

Virtually any, if you don't have premade stock then use cubes, season well and it won't be watery. x

That's a whole new thread. I have never used/eaten lentils.
They feature massively in my new diet (not a 'diet' diet) so I need to get using them really.
Lentils cook very quick. You could have lentil soup and some nice crusty bread on the table in 1/2 an hour.

Well we are souped out today. lol
I buy a soup mix from the scoop n weigh shop (you don't see many of them around these days - I pick some up when I am in Malton).

It has lots of dried mixed beans, pulses and lentils. Very good for soups and stews.
Lots of soups without cream. French onion. Spicy tomato. Potato and leek. Vegetable. Cabbage. Just make sure you have a decent stock, beef or chicken. Vegetable obviously if you are vegetarian.
