Has anyone seen it in a shop yet?

I want a jar but it is £6 on ebay.

If you have seen it, I would be grateful to know the price you paid and what area of the country.

Thanks in advance.

I know I shouldn't but...
Bleugh bleugh bleugh ewww bleugh!
Sorry, I am in Lancs and have seen it actually on the shelf in Asda.
Bought a jar a couple of months ago. About - £1 more expensive than the normal stuff (but not £6). Looks fabulous in the jar but a bit disappointing when spread on toast. The packaging is made to look like a Christmas bauble with a gift tag on in, bit of a fad but fun as a one off (got it in Asda).
£3.99 so dearer in Sainsburys

Apologies for the typo.
Have a look at the Asda home delivery site for your area, they might not have it any more as it is/was a limited edition (it's quite cool for about 5 seconds but not the end of the world if you miss out on it).
Mojo, we are in total agreement.

Gromit, I suspect that it is on the left side of the supermarket shelves.
It's normal marmite with gold sprinkly stuff in - GOLD SPRINKLY STUFF!!! What's not to like? (I am told it tastes the same.)
therefore it's shyte.

DTC - I bought it for the children (only one of them eats it) - therefore it was fab (you old misery), x
Any marmite is completely yak. You should be hung drawn and quartered for even speaking of it........x
I don't eat that crap - boy #1 likes it (no one else will touch it with a barge pole).
Bit extreme, lcg, but I agree with you. The purpose of Marmite of any form is to procreate mushrooms of the highest quality.
Stick me in the old misery camp too. I love shiny but BLEUGH!
so do mushrooms..........
if you happen to be in Oxford St you will see that many of the famous Christmas Lights are in fact ads for Marmite Gold.
