Yorkshires first - how much oil do I use? (can't believe I've never made them)

Horseradish - I have horseradish root does anyone make their own sauce? If so how?

Mrs Owd bought a new cooker,followed all the top chefs and still turns out biscuits.

owd, to this day, I struggle to fry an egg properly. There, I've said it.

Sloop....I fry my eggs as normal, spoon a bit of the oil on top and then stick under a hot grill. Keep a close eye on it though. Works for me :-)

I've never made pastry...but...that's something else I don't like, unless it's filo, I like filo.
umm, I'll try it, but mr sloop has usually got to the pan first muttering "I'll do that bit"

I envy you the fresh horseradish actually ummm, I find it very hard to come by

the creamy recipes given earlier work really well with any smoked fish, especially mackerel, which is also cheap enough
basically it determines whether you go patisserie chef or not......

I've told him to bring some more home and I'll make a few jars. I love the stuff. He said there's loads of it where his working. He's working in a field in Aylesbury, I think.
