a dribble in the bottom of what every you are cooking them in so in a muffin tin enough to cover the bottom just
grate horseradish about 8inch 2 tablespoons of water 1 tablespoon of white vinegar and a pinch of salt
or if you have sour cream use a decent dollop of sour cream 2 tablespoons of horsradish, pinch of chives, squeeze of lemon juice and a sprinkling of cayenne pepper
Question Author
Just normal white vinegar?
yes
you can also grate it into some creme fraiche with salt, pepper and a squeeze of lemon umm.

Treat it like chillis on your hands, avoid your eyes, that sort of thing
You should use dripping or lard to cook yorkshire puds.
i use oil all the time hc you don't have to use dripping or lard
It has to be beef dripping in this house. The proper, old fashioned way.
Question Author
I don't have any dripping or lard. Do I have to avoid opening the door? Or is that a myth?

The horseradish seems nice and easy, it's growing where he's working at the moment so he can get loads of it....

Thanks all.
leave the batter to rest for half an hour before you use it

Lol DT...
sorry DT but I have to disagree with you it is not an issue to open the door if done slowly!!
No, you need quite a lot of oil for yorkshires, and it needs to be hot, hot hot!
Question Author
