Squid + Noodles

I have just prepared squid for the first time. It was gross!!! Much slimier than I thought. It's now in the fridge marinating in teriyaki sauce. It better be nice!!

I have plain rice noodles to go with it. What would you do with them? I have ginger/chilli/garlic etc...?

The best squid I ever had was in Croatia, stuffed with cooked wild rice.

Too late for stuffed squid, I've criss crossed it and cut it up.

Well it certainly felt like it ummmm, couldn't even keep water down for about two days !

But that was in Spain ummmm, could have been that the squid was dodgy or how it was cooked was dodgy.

I went away years ago with sil who was a very fussy eater, told her squid was onion rings, don't think she's ever forgiven me.

I really like squid. Had a Vietnamese squid curry a few weeks back. It was lovely.

Noodles and ginger. If the squidlings are marinating in teriyaki I'd avoid any chilli, but maybe a tad of garlic too with the noodles.

I love squid and when I've had them with pasta they were in a creamy seafood sauce.
