I've never bought frozen root veg, they keep long enough if you buy a swede and cook it from fresh, if you are stuck for frozen.

Aaah, thankyou both!
What's the point of frozen swede when a fresh one keeps for ages in the fridge?
Buy a big swede, prep it all for cooking and chuck it all in a pan and cook. After 5 mins or so take out and cool what you don't need that day and then freeze it for when you feel the need for swede. Bung into boiling water and enjoy.
