Mum, and if I'm not listening to them they call me by my name.
Sir.
Mum. My middle child took to calling me 'mother' for a while until I asked her not to :)

I should be grateful they don't follow the local tradition of calling me Mam. I hate that.
13 year old son calls me mum, 11 year old daughter still calls me mummy, I don't think it will last for that much longer though.
Older ones call me Dad, littler ones ( even my 14 year old daughter sometimes) call me Daddy, except my youngest daughter who calls me Dad, never Daddy. she calls her step father Papa which for some reason slightly narks me.
Daughter calls me mum, mummy or mutti. When she wants to wind me up or catch my attention she shouts 'mother'
Mum, I would never have wanted them to call me mummy after the age of about 10-ish.
I'll answer to anything.....
I don't have children, but my parents are Daddy and Mums, or Momba (long story).
One of my exes and his brothers and sisters still call their parents mummy and daddy - all adults now (he is the youngest and same age as me - 33). They are quite posh though :)

Jenna, that's what I was hoping for.
I don't really know why, because I'm not posh....more like dead common
Since the age of about 12 my 2 have called Mum, although my daughter will sometimes use Mummy when she wants something
My daughter calls me Mum and my 20 year old son calls me.....wait for it..... Dave and has done for the last 8 years or so. Oh and I am talking always, he called me Mum the other week and I was so shocked I didn't answer. Strange boy that one.

Mum to my face ........ behind my back ..... who knows.
My son always calls me mumsie, whether by phone or e mail. Hes 32
Daughter calls me Mum - son calls me Peggy or Peg (he knows I hate it so it's a wind up). Remember phoning my daughter - grandson answered and called for his mum to come to the phone. When she asked who it was he said "I think it's your mother?"
Now, 'Chris'. Dunno who Chris is. Must have a word with their mother. They used to call me 'daddy'. ( Aaah!).
I'm not a mum myself but would like to contribute to this thread. When I speak with my mum, I call her Mum. However, when I text or write to her, I call her Mummy and she always signs off her replies with the same. (ps I'm in my 40's and not posh).
When mine are after something, they call me mum, when I embarrass them, it's Maw

Mother's Day cards were lovingly addressed to Maw and Mawbags.
