just bought my turkey in morrisons and didn't realise that it says use by 25th. Does that mean i can't have it cold on boxing day? Would you risk it?

No risk. It'll be fine on Boxing Day.
Yes, of course I would. Cook it by the 25th, that's what it means, do what you like with it afterwards as long as you keep it in the fridge. I bought one the same today.
Yes, I would
Best before dates are only indicators anyway - I rarely take any notice of them. If the cat'll eat it, so will we.
No problem at all (assuming, of course, proper refrigeration - and that you didn't have it in a warm car for any length of time on the way home). You've always got an extra day or two on 'use by' dates on meat.

If you throw away whatever is left on 25th.....No turkey sandwhiches for the following month, some might say thats not a bad thing.....
No problem, my wife throws stuff away and i just retrieve it from the bin and not poisoned mysellf yet!
be fine, cook it on the 24th, then keep it chilled!.........it'll be ok!.........
Take no notice its a marketing ploy! cook it on 25th and when cooked it will last a good week if kept in the fridge. We use every scrap of ours after Christmas Day (mostly in lovely turkey and pickle sarnies) then boil up the carcass with loads of veg and make wonderful turkey soup and then freeze it!
