do uncooked blackberries freeze well and if so how do I prepare them? thank you

yes they freeze well.
wash them, and lay them out on a flat tray in the freezer, then once frozen, transfer them to storage bags or containers in there.
this way it stops them from mushing up and all sticking together.

okay guys - form an orderly queue on the left and I'll keep you in blackberry pies/crumbles throughout the winter - loooobylooo gets the extra one though.

I tried, but because of you I'll have a good supply throughout the winter so will think of you lbylooo each time I bite into them!
Luckily we had a good crop last year so I've got enough sloes for a couple of litres of gin otherwise Trish would have me driving round the county till I found some
