I have to order my party food from Tesco.com. Thing is I really don't know what to get! I don't want it to be party rings and kiddie food, but at the same time I won't have time to cook anything elaborate. Anyone got any ideas what I can just order/defrost? Finger food is more ideal than plates and proper food!

THANKS!

What about king prawns with a dip, or melon pieces wrapped in parma ham, or ripped up pitta bread, with a dip, or chicken wings, or a large pizza, which you can cook & cut into small squares, or toasted baguette slices with tapenade paste  - for  few ideas to get the ball rolling
i've found mini quiches go down a treat ,especially after a few beers, and only take 5- 10 mins in the oven

smoked salmon, either in packs, just open and put on brown bread, or their nibblies which are tasty, look pretty but cost more. The frozen king prawn ring with a dip in the middle is good, also packets of king prawns in crispy wrap, bung in the oven from frozen. The chinese and indian nibbly packs are good, also the potato skins.

For pud they are doing mini swiss roll bites with cream in, also mini cream slices, bioth frozen, 2 packs for 3 quid (no I don't work there!!!)

I know you say that you have to order from Tesco - and believe me I think they are great and do my weekly shopping from them all the time.  However, for a party you can't beat Marks and Spencers - they have great stuff, dead easy.  Order and collect form the store and not much more expensive.
I shop at Tesco.com weekly and think they're fantastic! My son turned 13 last week and so we had a party at home,I ordered all the food from Tesco.com and the best by far were the mini spring rolls which you get out of the freezer and bung in the oven for about 15 minutes. They went down a treat and didn't last longer than 5 minutes!!!
