I seem to have got to a position where my sister, I and my two daughters can work together, breathing over each other all day every day up to Christmas eve and look after my granddaughter. Then we have to avoid each other 25th, 26th... and then go back to working together 27th. What exactly is this going to solve?

//bobbin do you ever question anything in life?//
Maybe you missed it Prudie. A just questioned pixie's point.
He point was flawed. We need to reduce social interactions. So either we stop peopel going to work or we stop them meeting socially or we restrict both . So am asking pixie which she prefers.

sqad and who is going to tell you off, or grass you up if you go from one tier to another, i am sure that people will do this. Do as your told doesnt seemed to have worked so far. Those on AB may do as Boris directs, but many won't. We can only hope that this vaccine is rolled out quick enough to make a real difference. If the varient takes a hold then who know where this nightmare will end.

As I said on the other thread, you're both exaggerating the scale of non-compliance and overlooking that anyway you don't need total compliance to bring the epidemic under control. If the rules were sensible, consistent and implemented for a proper period of time then they would have the necessary effect, even if not everybody agreed with or stuck to them. Most of us, here on AB and in the UK as a whole, follow the law, even the stupid stuff we don't like.
