when was the last time you said that or gave a hug to a member of your family or friend ( not your partner)? I never have, never do, cant remember the last time....is it cos i cant remember my mum doing it to me - and she used to moan about my dads family members when they did?

Have been known to say it occasionally. Last told my mum about a month ago and my dad a bit more than a month ago. Didn't say it on fathers day even or give him a kiss.

Think it is a lot to do with how you were brought up.

We all know we love eachother even though we don't show it in the tradiditional way so thats all that matters.
We say it all the time...every day in fact. My Dad more than most because he wasn't shown a lot of love as a child. I guess its made him make sure he doesnt do the same to his family. I am very close to my cousins too and we tell each other all the time we love each other.
I never finish a conversation with my daughter .....either face to face or on the phone.........without telling her that I love her. It's not false..........it's just the way I feel. When we say goodbye we always kiss and hug........might sound daft but makes me feel great.

wish i was like that craft but never have been - if i changed now my family would think id gone mad!
lol thats the thing isn't it its much harder to change when people are already used to you being a certain way
angel....my family were never tactile and I didn't miss it....we've always been there for one another whatever. My daughter's father's family were quite tactile....the first time my mother-in-law kissed me I was quite shocked...her moustache was quite harsh.....

vibra, I am 31 and my Dad still says it to me all the time, any chance he gets and any time he sees me or speaks to me. Your daughter will still love her Daddy telling her he loves her even when she's in her 30's! I know I do! lol
awww vibra... wub u too xxxxx
lol craft

my nan always kisses us goodbye but I'd feel awkward making the first move. Its nice that she does. Bless her!

well u ought to read what I say properly then leggy

Well you ought to open your eyes a bit wider leg, you might be able to read all of what I write then rather than just snippets
this is why I use this site.............don't you always feel the love around you................
I said it to my Mum and Dad as often as I could. Now they are gone I just think it.
