if your own your property then you will have to sign a legal
document, i know this sounds bad, but if in the event of your death etc your son and daughter will need to know they will keep the house, and will the elctric and water bills still be in your names .

You should make sure that all utilities are transfered into their name and that they register or council tax. Other than that as the previous poster has said, simply ensure you have left instructions in your will for the disposal or transfer of the property on your death. Setting up a lasting power of attorney in the event of mental incapacity would also be a god idea.
Sorry to put a spanner in the works - especially if I'm wrong on this one - but I thought that if you lived in someone else's house, you had to be seen to be paying rent, especially if it's in the family, otherwise it's not an 'at arm's length' arrangement??? I thought the idea was that they could be paying you cash or 'in kind' without you declaring it. Think you need to ask someone who understands these things. Sorry if I'm misinforming you.
