Well hello there!

I've a day of domesticity ahead. Lots of veggies to prep (chicken dinner later) and tiny meals for a tiny boy to make and freeze down for when we don't have a kitchen.

Extension is coming along nicely. The first storey extension will be started next week. I can't wait to go out and have the new kitchen drawn up.

I heard the wee one in the night, he has a barking cough. I might be in for something too. I'll make sure we have plenty of greens later to defend ourselves against the winter lurgy.

Morning all.....Ozzies vs Uruguay on the box...the Ozzies up but finding the Pampas-munchers a little difficult to handle (but they have just scored again).

More house clearance today....the sister and OH coming over with a trailer.

Morning Birdies, back home after our Cornwall adventures. Does't matter how many times I go, it is still stunning every time. Have a rest today after a long drive. Tip for Lady CG. Try to get your kitchen drawn up before the sparkies get to work if you want the power to be where you need it when the kitchen is in. You can measure off block work and allow 25mm for plaster. Then do a check measure when it is plastered. You may of course be having it dry lined but it is not much different unless the boards are the insulated ones. Think I will fetch a paper and get a bit of breakfast on the go. I see that Johnny 5 is on early after a long night at work, ready for the game Johnny?
