barclays has sent me a card that is contactless enabled
anyone know what shops take this card

The shops that have the special terminal. They're only for "small" purchases.
Be careful, I read that the card is being debited just by being in the vicinity of the machine.

My wife cancelled her Barclays bank account when they sent her one of these cards and refused to disable the contactless feature.
wilkinsons accept them and you can buy some quite "large" items there
By "small" I was meaning lower value purchases. Barclays state a limit of £20 per transaction, and they call it "small" purchases.
Seriously, VHG? if my bank try to palm one off on me they can FRO too.
Spar have just got them and Starbucks recently, Pret a Manger have had them for a while as has Aldi and McDonalds.

I have to put my card right by it until it actually goes through, sometimes hold it there a second or two.
