Just water and add fairy liquid, test until right consistency.

washing up liquid, water and a few drops of glycerine from the chemist or the baking aisle of your supermarket. You will need to fiddle with the proportions, start with 1 measure of detergent to 3 measures of water plus 2 drops of glycerine

We always used 1 part water to 1 part fairy liquid - with a spoonful of sugar added and it worked fine!
