you wondered where your marbles went.
I did, one day trying to get rid of some letters, lazy me, not getting the shredder out of the cupboard, so put them in a bucket, set light, which then proceeded to set light to the plastic bucket, oh dear, which almost set the place on fire. You do anything that makes you think, now why did i do that....
Yes em I made a jam tart put it in my usual metal flan tin andpromptly put it in the freezer for another day. When that day came I went to cook it and found tin all rusty (der) and obviously unable to be used....sigh.
em10, I am a bit dizzy, always was!.....seems to be getting worse though!..........put it down to the age I am!........dementia may be setting in!............lol................
When I was waitressing I made a customer a strawberry milkshake on the counter behind the till where there was a whole queue waiting. I forgot to put the lid on the blender...
I put my shopping away the other day, was in a hurry!.....then went to cook the chicken bought for the evening meal, not in the fridge, but there was a pair of tights in there, the chicken was in the bedside table drawer!.............that's me!.......dizzy!.....
Johnny, there'll be loads of jobs going soon when the shops start to advertise for Christm....errm *remembers shooting threat* - seriously though, keep getting up with the same silly routine, something will come up soon. :)
Right in the middle of my GCE's (40+ Years ago) I rode my bike along a main road. Sun was low in the sky and directly in my eyes so I was basically riding at full pelt looking at the front wheel .... straight into the back of a parked milk-float. KNocked myself out cold.
Was taken to local A&E where I spent two nights in due to concussion but no broken bones.
Next day I sat another exam .... mind you I only passed 2 out of 7 taken. Can I blame the accident? Please?

My OH lost her purse and we hunted high and low for 3 days until it was found in the freezer compartment of the fridge.... I gave her a pay freeze for the trouble. [Last bit a lie but the purse was lost]
haha I remember hunting my house high and low searching for my phone, after about 10 minutes, my sister goes to me "your speaking to me on your phone" Dohhh xx
I often lose my reading specs!...........have lots of pairs, but can't find any sometimes!.........I say to my grandsons, 'please help me find my specs'.....they tell me 'nanny, they are on your head'.........and yes they are!.........
Oh god yes I do daft things all the time and getting worse!my mind just seems to be elsewhere a lot and routine things are done on autopilot and I'm not very conscientious of things i should be careful with. The worst one ever and quite recently was getting to the airport for a holiday flight and realising I didn't have the correct passports. where i thought I had my son's I had picked up one of my old passports. That was one horrible moment and a half!
not just me then, i try to be a little more careful, but odd things do happen, didn't think about the bucket being plastic, and would burn.
Johnnyboy don't give up, been there so often myself. it takes a bit of time, and a helping hand from friends and family.
welshlib specs on the head, i have done that, and once we were out having a drink, a guy sat on a chair that must have been a bit dodgy, the middle bit gave way and he fell through it, and stuck fast, sorry to say we roared with laughter, then got him out.
bless, i have almost put items like fairy liquid in the fridge, its just momentary lapses of concentration, but truly daft things, standing on a ladder, trying to change light bulbs, and realising that there is no one this thing is going to stay upright. Getting clothes, bags, snagged on door handles, endless times, getting pulled back like a bungee jump
