How did you find out? Are you registered on the same site?
Before the top two, find out for certain whether it's not one of his 'mates' playing a prank.
Confront him and then probably split up with him. I can't imagine what plausible reason he could come up with that would make me think 'ah ok, that's alright then'...
get the facts first, then take it from there
I would not be best pleased. At all.
Unless he could come up with a believable (hardly....) explanation, I would either join the site myself or, better still, dump him then join a different one.
There are a few innocent reasons and few that aren't so you need to decipher what his motive is.... so personally I'd register a fake account chat him up and ask to meet him somewhere- if he turns up for a night of casual sex, you'll know for sure it's not innocent.
(I'm male by the way)
I'd register as well & go on separate dates, blanking OH. And, get ALL my friends to date him at huge costly diners to hit his pocket hard & knock his effffing ego.
Hit his pocket hard....that could be shared money he's using.
You can only really front him with his profile on the screen. Ask him what the problem is, you dont need to scream and shout even though thats probably what you feel like doing.
Check the insurance policy....
this exact same thing happened to a friend of mine, she confronted him and he said he did it because he thought that because of the way she was acting(?) she was seeing someone else and he wanted to get his own back

would you still do the same if a child is involved?

She found out due to him leaving himself logged on the computer in his email account, and saw a message from a suspicious website and so looked up said website and found him on there. This site shows a box with 'new' underneath his profile pic so its not from before they got together (approx 1.5 yrs)

She's known for a while but hasn't said anything to him about it and asked me what i would do. Having a 1yr old myself i would find it difficult to decide what to do i think, so as i used to be a regular on here, i thought of you guys :o)
Well a child being involved really makes no difference puma- honesty is important in any relationship and if they don't have it, then that relationship is in big trouble- so the sooner things are out in the open the sooner they can either work on it and fix it or decide to call it a day, you cna't stay together ' for the sake of the kids' because that is just a recipe for disster.
talk, get to the bottom of what and why.
it wouldn't bother me, as long as it wasn't the same site i use
go on the jeremy kyle show♥♥♥

Hi kate, Yep its me from a long time ago if you remember lol.....

To be honest if they had been together for around a year n a half and found as a new profile on a dating site then he was obviously up to no good or was going to be or even maybe still is? At the end of the day its fair enough if you got an old profile you forgot about but for it to be new is a bit naught in my book. Lets not write off the fact that it could of been something to do and had no intentions and simply did it out of boredom. (still not right though)
To be honest id tell her to go (but then you know why i would say that if you remember).
If the relationship is a happy one maybe he was looking for excitement? If its a bit rough then thats your answer right there!
Either way whatever the outcome i dont really think he has an excuse, he been caught now grovel or go!
