Where can I find debt advice?

These people were very helpful when I needed some advice. I didn't use them myself as I decided to sort mine out alone but I found their website very good.

You can always consult Citizens Advice

CAB are rubbish - they are practically just people off the street giving their opinion and have very little financial advice. i work for a finance company and the things they tell people to do or get them to ask their creditors are ridiculous - they are almost as bad as CMCs, giving false hope to people struggling with finances.

go for FREE organisations - PayPlan, CCCS or National debtline

whatever you do - please do not pay any debt management company as there is nothing they can do that either yourself or the above companies can do for free !!!
