Indemnity for car payment?

part ex my citroen for a Nissan two weeks ago. I was making payment for my citroen so Nissan said it would be paid off.
However two weeks later my monthly payment was still taken..
Apparantly Citroen ordered the DD 5 days in advance, Nissan paid it off 3 days later- 2 days before it ws taken out but still too late.

anyway Citroen told me to do an indemnity as it would be quicker than waiting for them.
I got a charge too as i was in debit on my bank, i don't have an overdraft on the account either.
I did this but it is still showing as overdrawn. What can i do/ I am cluless about debts, apart from my car i have never had debts or credit cards etc in my life STRESS!!!

I have rang them and they said to go into my branch so i did. It's still not not been sorted though despute filling in an indemnity form.
