Ladies. If you were single/separated/divorced & lived alone, & you had a man round to do some work for you. Would you make sure you got dressed in a morning before he came into your house, & not gallivant round in your nightie.
On leaving for work would you hang all your underwear on the whirlygig dryer in front of the back door?

Depends if I was trying to get a discount.
I would hang my washing out as I saw fit. I probably wouldn't have my best 'come hither' (if there is such a thing) nightie on but I would feel perfectly happy in my pjs and a cardy or something.
If I answered the door in my Snoopy pj's the builder would just p!ss himself laughing.
I lived alone for about 7 years. If I had anyone coming for whatever reason, I would always be properly dressed and tidy. If I wasn't expecting anyone and someone knocked, I just wouldn't answer the door.

As for my knickers - I generally used to put them on the washing line in the garden. On wet days I would hang them in the day room. I did get caught out once with that though. I was working from home one afternoon and was expecting a delivery. Knock on the door and it was an old friend of my parents. I naturally invited him in and made him tea. It was only after he left that I realised all my lacy smalls were draped over the furniture. I was mortified!

It was a come hither nightie CD. The underwear was the see through variety.
I'd be showered and dressed, but I wouldn't worry if the laundry was out drying.
I really hope Barmaid answers this one !! lol !!!!

Personally if I had a man in I'd make sure I was showered, dressed etc. I would not leave my undies out though in case he played with them when I was out !!!!!!!! No !!!!! I got embarrassed the other day when I had to answer the door to the pizza dude in my PJ's 'cos the other half was still in the shower :o(
BARMAID !!!!!!!! Are you sure that's a truthful answer !!!!!!!!!! lol !!!!!!
Bugger off Athers. I did!

(Are you perchance referring to the 5am rat/naked/dog walking episode?!!!)
Oh I never hang my undies out - and when I have a man in (in the next few weeks) I will always be up and ready for him - I dont want him off with sickness do I
Wow... I consider my PJs to be my 'lounge pants' and wouldn't give a monkeys if soemone saw me in them. Unless I'd spilt something down them which is a definite possibility unfortunately.

I would think that sort of get-up slightly odd carrust... maybe it's as NM says and they want a discount!
BM - I could refer to a few of your 'episodes' pmsl !!!!!!! ........ but I won't :o)

China - I know what you mean but I had just had a shower and scrubbed my face and it was really red - and also it was a bit nipply outside if you know what I mean lol !
I don't own any pjs or a nightie China so its dressed or nothing!
Just lock the door to make sure he couldn't escape!!
Hi carrust I would put my best Woolie nightie on and flaunt myself
Come on own up, who saw me????
I would be up and dressed ready to nag him to within an inch of his life
i've answered to door wearing all sorts i never engage my brain first thing, the poor postman is traumatised, however if somone was coming round to do some work then i'd be dressed
At least you didn't have a green face mask as well to complete the look! I did that before but I thought it was going to be my sister at the door, it was the postman delivering a parcel.

I can't sleep nekked (on my own) BM... I've got to have something on my bottom half.
