tried it!
Ill just give the local one a call see how i get on!
Thanks
I've provided addresses for sort codes on AB on many occasions but no-one has ever thanked me or given an explanation of how the information was useful. I can't see the point of knowing the location but I'm happy for someone to convince me otherwise. Please can you enlighten me lubecki161 as to why it might be useful.
Thanks.
Yes you can.

I have a link that will take you to a site that will tell you.

I take the same view as factor30 - tell me why and I'll consider it. Don't tell me why and I'll assume you are an evildoer.

Ok factor30 i will!!

I just needed to know that information because a client only wrote the bank Name and Sort code and i needed the actual address!
Is that ok?
All the banks have a sorting code annual. Just go into a bank and ask politely, I`m sure they will oblige.

Contrary to what is posted on here at regular intervals, it is no big secret - just really like a telephone directory, except that if you look up the sort code it will give branch address as well as the other way round.
