Nightcaps And Bed Socks

If you wear them during the colder winter months when do you put them away for the summer?

I have never met anybody who wore a nightcap. I was brought up in Lancashire in a house where the windows regularly had frost on the inside in winter and even had a Victorian granny living in the house with us. We just had plenty of bedclothes on the bed.

And I thought a night cap was a last drink before bedtime,

What are bed socks?

Do wear them with sandals during the day?

I know a few people that wear sleep caps or durags to bed.  Even Tesco sell them.

Bed socks are socks you wear in bed, not in any type of footwear during the day.

Maybe I need one, during the colder months.

I don't "put them away", they're ever ready to wear (w1th regular laundering of course) if it's cold.

I think I would laugh if I saw anyone wearing a night cap.
I'm still wearing my bed socks. I will only ditch them when it becomes very hot for that two day summer we get nowadays.

A drag is a silky cap with extra material that can be wound or tied in different ways, designed to protect hair or keep hair oils off bedding/furniture
