I haven't banked with Chase but Martin Lewis often recommends its bank accounts and it has a very high rating for customer satisfaction.

The only reason I haven't opened a bank account with them is because it is essential the bank has a physical presence at least within a 2o mile radius of my home and of course Chase is online only.
I had an account in the USA. They were ok.
//of course Chase is online only.//

Technically not correct :-)

It is the biggest retail Bank in the USA and shifts around $4TRN a day.

Some of it through my code!
I use it for my day to day spending & some savings. Easy to use, competitive interest rates & no problems if you are comfortable using an app.
Chase Bank is, apparently, not directly accepting new UK customers at the moment. Those applying for account are being placed on a waiting list.

That's odd Chris, because they are advertising heavily.
Love the app and there current and instant saver paying over 3% plus 1% cashback on purchases...look at the website
Well JPMC does have assets of around $4Bn so pretty stable.

You should see the amounts they spend on litigation though!
I think that article mentioning the waiting list is pretty old.
Yes, they had a flood of applications so created a 'waiting room' . It was just to hold your details until they could get round to onboarding you.

Banks have to do numerous checks now and JPMC is very fastidious about them. And nothing wrong with that.
I was going to question why you would use a foreign bank, then I remembered I use Santander.
D'oh!
