I have to change a cash amount of £13000 euros into sterling, what would be the easiest way to do this?
I am selling a motorbike and the buyer has this amount, would I be able to fly back from France or would the amount of cash raise suspicion?

You have to declare anything over 10,000 euros on form C9011 which you can get on line ov Govt website.
Is it worth the risk? I would investigate the possibility of paying it into a bank and getting it transferred. Perhaps ask your bank for advice.
certainly would not travel with that much cash on me..do a bank credit !
Get it into Pounds as soon as possible as it will be worth a lot more than the Euro in the near future
Use Transferwise - safe and efficient

I have just used Transferwise (last week) to send money to my sister in South Africa. I found it very easy to use and the commission was less than some banks charge. I sent Stirling using my debit card and she received rand into her bank account. Your buyer will need your bank details and e-mail address, and he will be given the exchange rate for Euros to pounds. Everything was clear and it shows you exactly how much you will receive, I would certainly use them again.
