I took up their ‘free’ offer but cancelled well before the ‘free’ period ended only to find that they have taken a monthly fee from my bank account after the date I cancelled!!! I’ve even got the message they sent confirming the cancellation!!. I’ve just signed in and cancelled again but I want my ‘fee’ back but how???

Drivers always check with your neighbours if you don't answer the door.
I was caught too & had money taken from my account. I rang and complained & got a refund. This experience has put me off using Amazon.
Do you have to click on the 'no prime' everytime you make an order?
Yes but once you've seen it once (and it is small) it's quite easy to remember where to click going forward to avoid it.
I've never noticed it. My partner signed up for Prime though. He buys big stuff and I buy little stuff.
i am with bainbrig on this - i wish they werent so exploitative, so non-taxpaying and so darn good!
but with a new baby in the house, it's really handy to get things the next day. Although more and more things seem not to be next day
