i RUN SELLOTAPE FROM THE TOP OF DOORS TO THE BOTTOM AND STICK THE INSIDE BIT OF THE CARDS BEHIND IT.
I have two card holders that the cards slip in to. They are in the hallway. I open the card, think, 'Oh goodness, I haven't sent them one!' then pop it in the card holder with the rest. Job done.
I put mine on the mantelpiece. Why do yours keep falling over? Are they all landscape rather than portrait? I find landscape ones do tend to collapse.
Mine are stacked in the kitchen, I don't ever display them, they fall over and annoy me. And I can't abide hanging them on ribbon or hangers. I may just bin them as they arrive in future.
Pretty much the same as Eth...
Not surprised Ummmm, ;)
Bin maybe

Clover yes lots of them are landscape this year, it can be a draft when walking past them, the door being opened, heat from the radiator.
Have a neat little stack in the kitchen and there they will stay til Boxing Day when they will be recycled.
I usually hang them over a set of beads hung from the wall, carrying on a tradition my mum uses.
I have informed people for years not to send me paper cards. I'd be happy with an e-card. My room isn't big enough without them making the room look really cluttered.
it's a bit of a shame when people send them and they end up in a pile. It's a ridiculous waste really, I spent £25 in Clintons on cards and stamps the other day.
Was that the large fancy boxes Prudie? Buy two get one free? I bought some.
Understand how you feel Prudie, but I would rather have given the £25 to my favourite charity.
Yes it was their boxes. really expensive. The really annoying habit is work colleagues who I speak to every day all seem to send me cards, usually also from their partner and all their kids names - people I don't know from Adam so I feel obliged to do the same. Now that is a waste.
Ha ha, nice cards though aren't they x
2 double wall-light fittings on same wall - strings between the two - hang the cards on three or four strings. Only problem - the radiator is under the strings, and the cards flap back and forth in the rising warm air, which makes things a bit spooky.
Laughing like Mutley here atlanta, or they start to curl! ;0)
One year I just stopped sending cards. I told those who I saw not to send me one either, and although some still do, some have also stopped. It's a great relief, I really don't need or want a card from anyone.
I live in a cul de sac and we still get cards from a few people even though they never get one from us. Why? It's a waste of time and money.
