I should go for it Sandy. As it's designed by McQueen, don't use it, keep it in mint condition and you will be able to sell it for a handsome profit in a few years time. In other words, save it for a rainy day.

What? and get it wet? No, I think not.
Imagine paying that for a brolly ~ an item that you will lose within a day of getting it.

Only if it was one of those John Steed style sword sticks.
Sorry I have that amount to live off for a month so no thanks.
Sandy, it does say that if you sign in to the website, you will enjoy a 10% discount!

Go on, you know you want one.

2sp_ I don't , really. I'd use a Tesco plastic bag to ward off the rain when I'm caught out in a heavy shower.

I am not short of money, probably because I don't waste it on rubbish like that.
Question Author
Whatever else it is, it's hardly rubbish at that price. :-)
Rubbish is in the eye of the beholder Chinese proverb
i bet it doesn't blow inside out in the wind................i like it.
All that for an umbrella, I don't think so.
Question Author
I bet it does. The last decent brolly I had, admittedly costing nowhere near that price, did. I busted one of the ribs trying to get it back into shape and it was only fit for throwing away.
you could certainly keep off a better class of rain with that
Question Author
A better class of rain? But does it rain in places like Chelsea or Windsor?
I clicked on the site, and the brolly is US$670 which is 398GBP, so I'll have to come over there to buy it and save myself 8 pounds.
I hope you are taking seriously Khandro's advice. There should Not be any problem keeping the jolly brolly in mint condition because it does come with 'Designer dust bag included'.

Hans.
If you're looking for a brolly, here's just the thing -

Not much use at keeping you dry though.
Question Author
I've one like that in black. I never thought to offer it as 'art' on E Bay.
Sandy - the ebay brolly was designed by a guy described as:-

"Johnson was born in Karachi, Pakistan. He holds a BFA from Pratt Institute .........."
