I have just done a credit check on myself (firts time ever at my age)!
It came back with a credit rating that would be classed as good - I have four postives and just one negative.
How can I improve the rating and would my rating be considered good enough if I wished to apply for a buy to let mortgage

TIA

well the answer is yes....OK I mean

but I would go along to a bank or the place that you have selected to give you a mortgage and run it by them.
I imagine that you are wondering about applying and being turned down and this affecting your rating. But at the Bank they give you lots of chance to call it off before they press 'send'

altho it turns out that you pay the mortgage with the rent, you do need an alternative source of income (to cover the void periods) and basically you will be limited to three times your salary

and they will want a decent deposit.

and good luck

Thank you for advice
I have what could be considered a large deposit but, as I only work part time I doubt I will be able to get a mortage offer high enough to cover the amount I would like
Need to find something else to do with my money
