My Northern Rock mortgage special interest rate ( BoE base rate +0.24%) comes to an end in January and will revert to their SVR of 4.79%.
Do you think BoE base rate will remain at its present level for some time and that I should opt for a 2 year base rate + tracker morgage.

hold up a minute, i'll just get my crystal ball out .....

i think that the rate will remain lik this until the first quatr of next year, whereupon it will start going up. And a man wearing a green jumper will be lucky tooo-oooo
