Thank you Barry. That's probably it.
I've just checked my relative's pension payment and he hasn't had the increase either.
how much is it?
I had my increase last Monday as I get paid a week in advance she says smugly.
emmie, it's 2.5%. You should have had a letter telling you how much you will receive

How much is what, Emmie?

How'd you manage that, Smuglady?

I get a basic state pension Emmie. You probably have the new State Pension.
I told them that was how I wanted it Tilly. I wish I hadn't now as it probably means that after my demise my family will have to repay some of it.
oh ok, no letter as yet...
Question Author
You'd better not spend it then, LB.

I've had a disappointing week as I also received my Teachers Pension on Monday. That was a phenomenal rise of 0.5 %! I think I had 2p more than last month. :-)
i get a private pension of just under 2quid a week, took it out for just one year before i got made redundant.

There you go, Emmie. Treat yourself.
You'll be able to buy a cup coffee with that in 2031 Tilly.
seeing how our usual round of two coffees, when i meet up with my mate comes to 6 quid i think my two quid doesn't go far, lol

Ah well. Must be thankful for small mercies. At least we have money coming in. :-)
