Morning all. What's the best chat up line you've ever heard or used? My favourite has to be the chap who walked up to me in a bar, slapped a book of stamps down on the table & said "I've always been told that philately will get me every where".
Morning Salla. I'm glad you're about today... Any suggestion for a quiet beach in Lincolnshire. I dont know the area too well and went to go to the seaside tomorrow? (thanks x)
Hi maizie - Instead of the Skegness main beach, at the end of Skegness High Street turn right at the famous clock tower and head for Gibraltar Point Nature Reserve. There is a lovely stretch of beach at Gibraltar Point - cleaner and far less crowded.
I'm not a huge fan of Skegness - too crowded, too much cheap tat and wobbly flesh.... But Gibraltar Point is not too far out of the town, but is another world. A nice walk too if you want some exercise. And because it's a nature reserve, you don't get the rubbish strewn all over the beach and you can always find a nice quiet dune.
Are those real or just a pair of tights rolled up - used by an ex RAF colleague to a female at a bar on York station as we were waiting for a train to go back to camp at Hereford - turned out she was our new flight commander!!! (and boy, was he sorry!!)
Well I don't know whether it's the best chat up line, but years ago whilst walking amongst sand dunes with the dog on our local beach, a guy popped his head out amonst the grass and asked if I wanted to share his strawberries. He was stark naked!!
(I should admit I had inadvertetly walked as far as the well known nudist area of the beach)
