Absolutely despicable while we are in a cost of living crisis. Great for my Dad who has shares tho...
would you rather they made a loss and therefore paid no corporation tax?
Be careful Canary, your Pension is probably invested in there somewhere so your right in it together.
They are a business and at the end of the day it is not for them to ensure that people can heat their houses.
They have been allowed to raise their prices so why would they not if it is costing them more to get/produce the power.
All the better for my pension thank you very much.

Didn't they make a loss last year, and that's a quarterly number for the year, if you were in government would you tax by the quarter.
