Staying at home is definitely a good way to eat properly but alas not always possible.

I know the scales are going to give me a sock in the face on Wed.

Just home now from 2 months in Spain so will start all over again with my grocery shopping. I can get a creme fraiche like thing here that I love using on salads and it is just 1.5% fat. I couldn't get it in Spain and was getting tired of just vinegar on my salads......soup and salads here I come.
Not good enough. Got a wake up call 2 weeks ago and got back to it and lost 4 lbs but not been so strict with myself so have stayed the same which is good for straying but not good enough. Onwards and Downwardsd for next week.
I was expecting a very bad weigh in but that was not to be, however staying the same isn't good enough. I will be quietly coasting until mid Jan. and then will take the bull by the horns. Due to several reasons there is no point in starting before but I am still trying my best to go down.....
Up !?!?! ⅞ lbs. It's not that I've been stuffing myself full every day, I'm unsure why the scales are being so cruel.
Very surprised to say that even after 3 nights out this week and treating myself to a slice of pizza I have lost another 2lb. Must have been good the rest of the time! Do you want to borrow my scales OG, seems they are friendlier?
Could I also borrow them Jan??????????
Of course xstitcher. You have to talk to them very nicely though. :-)
Sounds a plan. I'll pick them up after work then.
Right oh...then it's my turn.....just got my Christmas turkey 4,400 grams of almost fat free heaven......
At this rate there'll be a queue to get on my scales every wednesday morning. I'm looking forward to pigging out on my christmas dinner too xstitcher.
Jan you will have to start charging for lending out your scales. Well done on the weight loss again .
sorry I have been AWOL for a little while. I am afraid to report that through having virtually no self control and having lots of functions to attend, my weight has been up and down more than a ***'s drawers :) and am now up by
1 ½lbs. I am going to be really busy for the weeks leading up to Christmas and have no more functions until Christmas itself, so will try and get a grip!
Seems apart from Jan, we are all in the same boat so Onwards and Downwards.
Welcome back Jules. I think "self control" is the name of the game. 1½ is not so bad if you can get rid of it here and now. Please don't let it slide down that slippery slope and this comes from me who has almost reached the bottom of that slope...if only I had taken my first gain more seriously....the more you gain the more you seem to feed that devil. Good luck and onwards and downwards....
Quick post while you can - there'll be a December one soon and you'll have to change subscribed threads !
There was a Dec one yesterday, early in the morning. I couldn't get it to work and then a few hours later it was gone
hmmmmmmm
