lost again this week - only 3/4lb but it is still in the right direction :) well done to everyone else who lost and for those that didn't, there is always next week so don't give up the fight!

Morning everyone,

At last Ive got to my 2 and half stone loss !!! Only half pound was needed but I was thrilled to just get that. Its been hard work these last few months going up and down like a yoyo.
Im glad Im not the only one attacked by the baddies. All day yesterday, I kept having these urges to eat something really sweet but I tried had to give in when our to be strong as the big weigh in was on the evening, but I had to give in when one of the chefs made some of her beautiful orange tea bread. I cannot resist it. I put it away in a cupboard for today but it didnt stay there long.. It ws probably why I only lost a pound but it was worth it. Im over it now so onward and downward

Glad you are all doing well. I dont seem to get on here much lately as so busy at home decorating and when its nice weather I go out for a walk
Well done TheOtherHalf I know the feeing well when then is something you can't resist. If I have something in the cupboard for my grandson sometimes it worries me .I know it is there .Then the devil tells me to eat it then I have to make sure I have something before he comes again. I try to buy someting I don't really like but that don't work if it is chocalate. Onwards and Downwards
I keep Curly Wurlies in the fridge and cut one up each evening; there's plenty to chew on, it seems to help my sweet tooth, and doesn't seem to have any adverse effects. Certainly better than fudge bars.
Good idea anniemollie. Guess what I will be looking for in Asda later.
I'm not making any comments on my weight right now...I've been fighting a cold and chest infection for about two weeks and my eating has gone up the wall [I'm on as well].....

Just the same. Until I get the courage to cut down on the portions I suppose it is going to remain like this.

We're going to a big dinner party on Friday evening held at a hotel with overnighting so there I'll have both the dinner and the breakfast to cope with.....oh dear, get behind me Satin !!!!!!!!

I'm waiting to hear how well all the rest of you are doing which always proves to me that this little club of ours is definitely worth while. Onwards and downwards !!!!
love the typo get behind me satin... the last thing most women want on their behind is shiny fabric..... wii fit says a pound off despite the birthday weekend... suppose it was all the extra walking.. onwards and downwards
Feeling very down this week - Its been a bad one. Out at the weekend and I had a drink or three and a meal, then had visitors on Sunday who arrived with cake. One they had made so it would have been rude to say no and if I'm honest I didn't want to. The result is that I have put on 2lbs. So back to the drawing board this week. :-((
Well looks like I am back on track after a few stay the sames. It's a 1lb off. Xstitcher enjoy your night out I know you will get back on track. Jimjooles sounds like you had a whale of a time I know the feeling well just can't resist the devil.

well after weeks of just a little bit here and there, I finally got a weight loss worth waiting for, I lost 2 ¼lbs this week, only another ¾lb to go to reach the next 1 and a half stone mark.
Congratulations to all you have gone down and comisserations to those who haven't. Just hang on in there. I had a good conscience meal tonight. For the two of us I took one chicken breast, cut into 8 pieces which I rolled first in Greek yogurt then in break crumbs and baked in the oven at 200 for 3/4 of an hour. We ate this with a salad. I flavoured my pieces with spicy Sambol Oelek and hubby's with thyme. (in the yogurt) They were nice and crunchy and not dry at all. This type of meal should help me go down but I need variations.....any ideas out there?
Hi XSTITCHER I use a lot of chicken breasts and I flavour them with these jars of cooking sauces and as I can't use all the jar in one go I have liitle pots and I freeze the rest of the sauce .You can get all different varietys. and your recipe above sounds nice.
i have not been good at all.put 2 on this week,i havent been to ww. for 3 weeks,my leader left for a new post and the person who took over i just
cant seem to bond with,so i think i will change ww,or just give up,
HI Kate please do not give up and yes I understand how you feel if you can't bond with new leader. Just give yourself a few days break and set yourself a small target. It is no good saying a big target just try and do it in stages.I have never believed in saying I am on a diet I like to say I will lose weight by eating healthily and yes I do have the odd treat and yes I stay the same for weeks but I am not going to put on the 2 stone I lost last year. By coming on here and telling us proves you are trying please keep with us . Onwards and Downwards
