Yes occasionally. Mostly to get out of P.E. I once went up the parked, climbed a tree and sat in it and watched all the other kids in my class walking through the park beneath me to go to the leisure centre. Bit risky!
Nope, I'm way too much of a goody goody for bunking off!

i loved p.e.especially hockey
When it was cross country or hockey a gang of us used to skive off into the playing field of the all-boy's school next door (we were an all-girl's high school). We all used to sit behind an enormous oak tree, smoke roll-ups and flirt very badly. They were comprehensive boys, and considered rather naughty and a bad influence. Great they were...
no but i played jesus in the school play
lol jj - we used to skive off from our all girl grammar school to the boys public school next door - they thought we were a bit naughty and they were right....
no...................too scared of the consequences!
The first time I played truant I got caught!!!

Was on the high street, window shopping and a man asked me the time, told him and he then asked why wasn't I in school!!!!!!
He turned out to be a truancy officer and I gave him my cousins name!!! Lol.
I did. A lot (bearing in mind it was over 20 years ago). Hated the place, Teachers and other pupils.
For my last 2 years at school I must have truanted for about 40% of the attendance days - after my 'O' levels the head teacher asked me to stay on lol
craft......
lol jj - we used to skive off from our all girl grammar school

JJ isn't on this thread......are you on the cannabis again LOL
sqad - I'm not saying and anyway you know I meant salla ...(sits in corner sulking).....
i think craft meant me sqad - easy mistake to make!!
craft......I knew....but I felt a bit of trouble making was on the cards.
Trouble is, you miss zac..........where is he?
how should I know where he is - he lives about 10 miles away from me......
No I loved school, even having to go in on Saturdays. I used to wake up on Sundays depressed because there was no skool. It never crossed my mind to play truant, which is why I got loads and loads of exams.

Gormless....yes, but did you pass them? LOL
Gormless like you i loved school so much that on saturdays on sundays i used to go and just look at a school! Still never stopped me bunking off and getting nabbed down oxford street looking for girls on several occasions!
but gormy I never went and still passed the exams....
It is absolutely true to say that I have never failed an exam in my life, because I always worked hard and listened to the teachers. Additional Maths was a bit of a struggle, but my Latin script was a virtuoso performance, we had that ghastly bit of torture that Virgil wrote to upset schoolkids, the bit about the sea-serpent writhing across the sea. I got a distinction because I worked hard and listened to the teachers.
