A classic example was Louise Woodward....the nanny accused of killing the child she was looking after in America, the trial was shown live on TV and she got the giggles when she was giving evidence.

People slated her for it, but someone said it was because of nerves
I do it as well....I dread people telling me someone has died. There is a name for it as well....
I remember seeing Louise Woodward in MacDonalds and she said........

"Two Big Macs, A quarter pounder, 2 fries and a shake for the kids"
I always thought cats only purr when they are happy.

Turns out they also purr when in severe pain.

I remember my brother telling me that joke. It was the first thing I thought of when reading Elvis' post!

A friend of mine used to burst out laughing when someone told her of a death. We arrived at work one morning to find our 2 receptionists in bits as one of our consultants had died suddenly and at a young age over night. She was wetting herself laughing when they told us.

It was so embarrassing I had to cover for her. Never see anything like it before.
might so called better half, laughs if i put my hands round her neck, she finds strangling hysterical, honest

I do it aswell. when i was 11, I got told a family friend had died and i laughed. My mum had a massive go at me. but i knew that i didnt find it funny and that i couldnt help it. i confided in a teacher who said it was a normal reaction, kind of like, shock, denial ect, and that it can be helped and it doesn't mean that i am evil!!
