Lost, you've got it bad!! Glad to hear we haven't lost (ha!) another one to the lesbians... I know all too well what it is like to fancy someone.. wondering what to do, do they like me etc... Is so frustrating!
Yes, you have to be careful when you are texting.. it is not something to be used lightly! But then if you have sent a good few texts, something out of context is not the end of the world...

She was saying loads of nice things about me; I won't bore you with the details as I don't like to show off lol but 1 thing bothers me... I sometimes kept my eyes open while kissing and she looked a bit bored lol... Maybe she was concentrating...

Ken, i think i will come join you in your bath and stay there... He is now just ignoring me, so quite frankly i am fed up. Ignoring me one minute and finally coming over to comment on how miserable i look really has left me feeling quite depressed! So b*gger it, from now on i'm just going to try actually enjoying singledom- whihc will last all of 2 minutes.

Yeah I agree with you both, people keep telling me that if I stop looking then I will find it! Yes, that worked - I am 31 and still single! I really like this woman and will see her again, but I am still only thinking about having a good time in the short term...
I think it depends on your state of mind. If you are feeling gorgeous then you think oh great I am single; I am able to get together with someone when the opportunity comes up... If you are lacking in confidence, then you think oh god everyone else is with someone, I'll never find anyone...

How do I impress people? Well, I am not sure I do!! My dancing is pretty good, and I am quite funny... Those are part of me and I do try to just put myself across as I am... whether that is the shy me or the outgoing me...

Ok, you can have the duck but I'm not sure I want to know what you've got planned for it. Hehe.
Am also quite a good dancer, especially when my mates and I hit Flares. Someting about 70's tunes that make them infinitely easier to dance well to. :). As it happens, I'm there tomorrow night in our Darlington branch so will be strutting my stuff.
It is a minefield. Its a shame you can't just pick out someone and say to them, ' Grab your coat, you've pulled'. Without all this flirting and guessing and hassle. Perhaps I'm just lazy but it would be nice if you could just say to a member of the opposite sex, 'You look realy nice, fancy a drink'. imagine that!!! :).

Was out last night with some of my customers. Got on really well with one particular lass but it turns out she has a fella. Not sure why she didnt tell me this at the start of the evening or even in conversation on site. Weird, and testimony that I will never understand women. Spent most of nite in Flares and had an uber good time. Best track to dance to last night was ABC by the Jackson 5. Strange things happen to my feet when that comes on.
Yes, it is marching with weight. I tend to put about 30-40 pounds of gear in to simulate the weight of my bergen.
I did volunteer but I get paid which is good.
Most of the people I've told about it usually say, 'You!, In the RAF?'. Must be something with me, perhaps I'm more of a lover than a fighter.
You did tell us about the marathon. I know i could never do that. I don't have the stamina.

Hello guys, sorry it;s been a while - been pretty busy with work and all that. Totally gave up on the work guy = i started to see that maybe i could do better anyway and am on another adventure; so whilest i have the old guy it seems wanting me now; i have gone onto to a sexier, new project who (fingers crossed likes me) and is worthy of my company! Ian, have taken some of your advice and organised a load of nights out in celebration of my turning 30 in 18 days. Am trying to get a weekend in Prague sorted but I fear it may be too late notice for my friends. ah well.
