I think Weight Watchers is a good sensible plan and you can follow it via their website without having to join and spend money.
I'm on www.edietsuk.co.uk  the support is brilliant and there are loads of different diet plans to choose from.  Overall I think it's just a case of finding something that works for you.  good luck
GI Diet all the way! It's all based on the glycaemic index, you don't feel hungry, can still snack and don't have to cut out entire food groups (just sugar). It's great, try gidiet.com.
Slimming world is great. Nothing is off the menu and they give you loads of tips and recipes for things that you can eat till you pop.
Rosemary Conley Diet. I've tried *************, slimming world and some others but found RC the best. It's not points or anything, just a low fat and calorie diet. This makes it easier to stick to as a way of life. All u have to do is know how much you're allowed and check the food labels! Also, if you join a class, you get an aerobics session which you don't with most others. I lost 2 stone on this diet. Good luck
that should've read weight watchers!
I say Weight Watchers! I lost 42Lb on their diet in 3 months and it's not one that leaves you without a clue or help once you get to your target weight either.
i am following the slimming world diet at the moment and personally i think this is the best one, i have tried many other diets, but none have really worked. if you attend any diet class then you MUST stay to the class after the weigh-in as it provides so much help and support and everyone there is in the same boat. GOOD LUCK. i know how hard it is.
Gillian McKeith as its based on food combining and GI diet principles, the more you eat the better provided you dont eat the same food groups together. It also encourages better/healthier eating attitudes. Buy the book but adapt it to your own lifestyle and tastes. It's good idea to do a few days of detoxing to kickstart a diet as it cleans out the rubbish and prepares your body for the changes in your diet.
