It's a real labour of love, and it would be accompanying me out of the house.

All my photographs. My sister-in-law lost ALL her photos when Towyn flooded some years ago. Particularly sad as her wedding photos were lost too and a few months after the flood, her husband died aged 50.

when this scenario happened in Shanghai with the Maoist takeover, most folk took their clothing, jewellery and, of course, the #1 item most grab is the photo album.

Not one English expat though, he went down to the Shanghai Cricket Club and unscrewed the brass plaque off the wall and carried that out. It then hung in the Royal Hong Kong CC. I believe it is now the trophy between the two clubs, now that the Shanghai club is back up and running. (Having been involved in the first replay match).
