Now a paid for website - tut !
£1 a day-blooming cheek considering all the pop up ads you have to endure just reading it on-line.
O well suppose the rest will follow suit-too good to last.

I wouldn't want to pay for the News of the World in any format. lol

If all newspaper websites go the way of NotW I will just stop using them and stick with the BBC news website!
Yep :-)

I hate NOTW....it's mainly all celeb crap. A magazine basically. OH reads it though but I think that has something to do with football section...
Obsessed with X factor "celebs", Jordan, footballers off the pitch antics and other rubbish.

Thats why I just bob on-line to read through all the papers as I think theyre quite expensive and they must make some revenue from the advertising on-line.
Was just an observation.
How much more must they be making from the advertising ontop of the £1? Any guesses?
do you get to read the mag too

I'm not sure 4get -I just skim the front pages normally.
They'll be making a tidy sum Molly from the adverts.O well no skin off my nose cos i'll just have a look at the front page when I go down to Tescos-wont be buying it though:)

The Times started charging a few months ago...bad for those of us who can no longer afford to buy a paper everyday, but may still want to look at the major stories on occasion. I have no idea what they charge per month....but it's going to be too much for looking once or twice a week.
I wouldn't read that scuzzy gutterrag or their equally iniquitous website if you paid ME...

Why an audacious fee to command.
I used to have a flick through the NOTW mainly to see what the big story is, not worth paying for though.
